MANILA, Philippines—Acting Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Governor Mujiv Hataman backed President Benigno Aquino III in the claim that there have been officials from the Arroyo administration who instigated the standoff in Sabah.

As I see it, the President won’t speak about the matter if he didn’t find any reason for it),” Hataman said in an interview on Radyo Inquirer 990AM early Tuesday, adding that he has full trust in the President’s honesty.

From what I’ve known about the President, from his days in Congress up to now in the palace, he is the type who won’t tell lies),” Hataman said.
