Sulu gunmen in Sabah village defeated—Malaysian police

MANILA, Philippines—Malaysian police said that the royal followers of Sultan Jamalul Kiram III of Sulu in the Sabah village of Tanduo have been “totally defeated,” The Star said on Twitter.

Quoting the Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar, it said: “Mopping up operations ongoing. Security forces checking from house to house. Enemy casualties unknown for now.
