DOJ urged to take legal action vs US Navy for Tubbataha destruction

MANILA, Philippines — Militant fisherfolk group Pamalakaya (Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas) filed a complaint Tuesday before the Department of Justice, urging it to take legal action against the US Navy and crew members of USS Guardian. Mara Cepeda and Caitlin Jao

    The damage on the coral at Tubatha Reef is miniscule in comparison with the damage that is being caused by dynamite fishing and coral poaching.
