Here’s how to meet Hillary Clinton
The United States Embassy in Manila has launched an online contest for young Filipinos who want to meet Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her visit here on November 15
The contest, which the embassy calls “Chikahan Tayo (Let’s Chat) Challenge, was launched on the Internet social network Facebook.
It seeks responses on three topics, namely, how young people can work together to build a more peaceful world; how one uses social media to make the world a better place to live; and how Philippine and American youth can work together to sustain and improve the relationship between their countries.
According to the embassy, a “special event” with Clinton will take place on Wednesday at a time to be announced later.
Contestants must submit an answer in 100 words or less to any of the three questions by 3 p.m. Monday. Only one submission per person shall be accepted. The embassy advised contestants to “be creative, be unique.”
All accepted entries will be posted on the US Embassy Facebook page tab titled “Chikahan Tayo Challenge.” Jerome Aning
