BAGUIO CITY— Two Dubai tourists were arrested in a Camp John Hay hotel on Tuesday noon (Aug. 2) for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.

Abdelrahman Mohamed Rashid Mansouri Alsuaidi, 33, a Dubai municipal inspector in the United Arab Emirates, and his companion 46-year-old Waleed Shamlan Mohamed Shamlan Alshuweihi, face charges of statutory rape and human trafficking, according to the police.

The police were called in by Jose Victor Trinidad, a hotel employee, on behalf of three girls, two of them teenagers, who claimed they were compelled to travel with the tourists to Baguio.
