Ecija teen kills Taiwanese man, stabs wife
RIZAL, Nueva Ecija — A 15-year-old boy stabbed to death a 60-year-old Taiwanese national and injured the victim’s wife during a break-in at the couple’s home in Barangay Macapsing here on Saturday afternoon.
The boy stabbed businessman Pai Chi Fu in the chest with a kitchen knife when Pai tried to stop the suspect from attacking his 58-year-old wife, Erlinda Cheng.
Cheng discovered the boy in the bathroom at 1 p.m. when the couple arrived home and was struck several times with the knife, said P01 Reynante Menia, one of the police responders.
She is being treated at a hospital in Cabanatuan City, police said. Pai was declared dead on arrival at the Bongabon District Hospital.
