Widodo calls Cabinet meeting after report of Veloso recruiter’s arrest—report

After learning that the alleged recruiter of Mary Jane Veloso has surrendered, Indonesian President Joko Widodo called a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Radio DZBB said Widodo called the meeting to discuss the case of Veloso hours before her execution.

The 72-hour Indonesian deadline will end at 6 p.m. (Philippine Time) but the exact time of execution has not been announced by the Attorney General’s Office of Indonesia.
