Fil-Am nurse-turned-pro boxer faces newbie in Richmond

SAN LEANDRO, California – Fil-Am Joel “The Quiet Storm” Siapno and Israel “El Nino Dinamita” Hernandez will square off in the professional ring on Saturday, April 25t, at the Richmond Auditorium in Richmond.

The bout was announced by the new up promotional company Square Vision Entertainment, which will be hosting the “action-packed event.”

A portion of the proceeds and ancillaries will benefit “Race to Erase MS” to support the research for Multiple Sclerosis.

Joel “The Quiet Storm” Siapno will be stepping in the ring for his third professional boxing fight.  He gained media attention last year during his pro debut as a graduate nursing student who is putting his nursing career aside to follow his dream of being a professional boxer.

Siapno has been training really hard to get back into the ring and he will have his chance again on Saturday, April 25th.

Israel “El Nino Dinamita” Hernandez will be making his pro debut in this event.  Hernandez is a hard working 30-year-old-bartender-waiter who dreams of being a professional fighter.

Due to his tough upbringing, he has had to put off his boxing career and as much as the odds are against him in the sport of boxing at the age of 30, he is still willing to go out and fight for his dreams.

Square Vision Entertainment is a new Bay Area base company that has been promoting live professional boxing around Northern California since 2014.  Its goal is to develop and groom the next generation of professional boxers.

A portion of the proceeds goes to “Race To Erase MS” a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization Tax ID # 84-1238541. The proceeds shared will be used to support research and help fight Multiple Sclerosis.
